Robin Lopez

An aerospace engineer, with 20+ years of experience building outdoor structures, Robin has designed some of the most creative and abstract obstacles you’ll ever see.

Jay Martinez became the owner of Obstacle Ninja Academy with a mission to build more than a gym — but a home for movement culture. In 2026, he and his two partners relaunched Podium, reimagining what ninja and acrobatic training equipment could be.

Together, the trio design and build innovative tools, custom obstacles, and precision-engineered creations that push athletes to move stronger, cleaner, and higher than ever before. From grassroots gyms to elite competitors, Podium exists to elevate the next generation of movement.
